CrossFit CSA is different from the typical gym, let us show you how. We would be glad to take you through a free introductory session to show you how to get started, what we do, and have you experience a CrossFit style workout. CrossFit workouts and our gym is something that must be experienced to truly be understood.
Where and What Time are Classes?
Our free Intro Classes are on Saturdays at 10 AM. To try us out just show up a little early on Saturday, fill out your waiver sign and get ready to get in the best shape of your life. Don’t forget the Intro Classes are always free no matter how many you take!
A Typical Class
In each class, you will warm up, learn new movements, do a full CrossFit workout.
9:45 – 9:55 Arrive at the gym and sign the waiver
9:55 – 9:59 Watch the other CrossFit Classes in action before your Intro. You may freak out.
10:00 – 10:05 Your Coach will call the Intro Class over to the whiteboard, give a brief overview of CrossFit, explain the workout, and answer any questions you have.
10:05 – 10:20 Movement Instruction guided by the Coach warming you up, teaching you the exercises, and preparing you for the workout.
10:20 – 10:50 3-2-1-Go!! Now you will hit the workout at your pace while supervised by your Coach. It may be only 15-20-30 minutes or less but we guarantee that is enough!!
10:50– 10:59 Cool Down. Group discussions, answer questions about CrossFit in general or the workout, etc.
10:59 – 11:00 Loud clapping and applause for surviving the Intro Class.
What To Expect
Regardless of your current fitness ability and understanding, expect to learn. Expect to have a challenging, but short work out that might give you a little reality check on your fitness level. Expect to see a lot of smiling faces who will likely approach you and ask your name (don’t worry, unlike a globogym this does not mean they will try to walk you to your car). Make sure you wear comfortable clothes and athletic shoes. Bringing water is also a good idea.
